Sycamore

Golden Gate Park. The bandshell. A small grove of stunted, overly pruned trees. Gnarled and twisted, they look like creatures from a microscopic world. Terrifying from above, spectacular from below. Lying beneath the sycamores I discover the miraculous, again. Hello God.
